We aim to unearth a small number of manager strategies with high quality teams, either uncorrelated to public equity and rates markets or otherwise consistently delivering alpha with a particular edge or skill and effective through investment cycles.

We believe in the long term with our relationships and commit to transferring in-house all we have learned, with the aim of not only raising capital but shaping platforms and adapting to needs for efficiency and ongoing effective marketing.

Robert Eamey

Robert has over 30 years of experience in financial markets. Tigern was founded in order to seek out and pursue compelling asset manager propositions, in the form of non-main stream alternatives or consistent equity alpha generators and bringing them to the attention of institutional investors.

Robert started his career in the insurance industry at Lloyds of London, then moving to the investment banking industry. Twenty years in corporate bond markets provided deep experience at the ‘coal face’, an education in the world of financial instruments and financial engineering, all appropriate for the next stage of transferring to the buy side.
Experience of understanding investment strategies over decades in main stream and alternatives markets, understanding how they combine together, has provided the foundation to understand asset owner needs, working with institutional asset owners to construct around liability and regulatory needs.

Mandy Adamou

Mandy began her career in asset management over 30 years ago. Her experience of understanding investment strategies and then opening the right doors though which to take them forward to success, has left her with few peers who have been able to match the results she has achieved. Inherent skill in the understanding of what her counter parties require in terms of information, but also timing and always striking the right balance in the human interaction, has served her well in forming solid and trusting relationships over decades.

Navigating and remaining current in the ever changing investment consultant world is always a challenging task, but the reward from this two way relationship ‘information loop’ has helped to provide early mover advantage for the firms she has worked with, in delivering strategies which the market place seeks and driving them to successful launch.
